So, I am so late with this post and promotion for Halla, which is not the kind of first impression I like to make and this was my very first test with these wonderful ladies!! But, I am just recovering from surgery. I had to have my stupid tonsils taken out and man, has it been a terrible week. Did you know that the best way to recover from this procedure is to drink a ton of water? Did you also know that every breath and swallow is like being stabbed repeatedly in the throat? Yeah, great mix. Then I turned up allergic to the liquid form of the pain meds they prescribed. Fun times.
But, that’s not what we’re here to talk about!! Testing for Halla was ridiculously fun!! The group is funny, sarcastic, full of food and puppy lovers and, well, real. It was definitely a new approach to testing for me, but I found it exciting and fun.
On to the juicy stuff. This pattern is gorgeous!! If you are looking for fun, easy to wear and something I haven’t seen in another pattern, stop right now and look here!!
The Elise is easy to wear, comfy and beautiful. Look at those tabs!! LOOK!! I love how such a simple addition took this top from a cute faux wrap, to vavavoom!!! The pattern comes with tons of options too!! I have to make the non-gathered skirt, since that will be much more me!
Also, did you notice?? There are pockets!!!!! A shirt that can pull off pockets, you say?! Hell yes!! They are well hidden in my gorgeous So Sew English floral french terry, but there are slat pockets on my shirt!!
The pattern also includes no tabs, dress length, a waistband, the ungathered skirt I mentioned above, a banded sleeve, a puffy sleeve and in-seam pocket options!
What are you waiting for? Go check it out!! You can even use the code ELISE to save 20% off all PDF orders until March 30th!
